ACYF/HHS Releases Results of Study on Child and Related Fatality Review Teams

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children Youth and Families (ACYF) recently released the results of a study which examined the recommendations and outcomes of child fatality review teams and related fatality review entities—citizen review panels, domestic violence fatality review and fetal and infant mortality review Walter R. McDonald & Associates, Inc (WRMA), in partnership with the National Center for the Review and Prevention of Child Deaths (NCRPCD) conducted the study in 2012. The purpose of the study was to identify promising strategies for fatality review for preventing deaths of children.
